Blog Stats – December 2014
December and 2014 has come to a close. We enjoyed our first full calendar year in Costa Rica. We got to take a few trips, made lots of friends, and experienced more about this great country and culture – some of which I wrote about.
As far as meeting my blogging goals for December – ha. Did not happen – not even close. For one, I had been neglecting a book writing project and I got motivated to finish the draft by the end of the year. I did finish the draft but only posted 4 blogposts in December as opposed to my goal of 10… oops.
I am not apologizing, mind you, just letting you know in a round about way that there will be yet another book on Costa Rica out there soon. But, I think you will like it as I wrote it as an answer to the type of book I wanted to read when researching CR, but couldn’t find. And it may come with a side of humor.
I also took a break from Twitter. I mean, I have 24k people in my network and I am not sure that number is translating to anything meaningful in regards to driving traffic to my site. I really did not spend much time growing my FaceBook fan page, although it continues to grow organically. My goal here is to engage daily and I normally do. The FaceBook page is great because it is the easiest way to stay in touch with you guys, answer questions, and show you my world.
With all that said – here are my stats.

Domain Authority 26 (Hey, I moved up a point – yeah)
Page Authority 37 (Hey, I moved up a point – yeah)
Page Rank 2 (no movement)
Alexa Rank 2,054,876 (-133,496 – Lower is better)
What does January have in store? Well, hopefully wrap up the editing part of my book so I can have it on Amazon shelves sometime in February. I plan to post once a week this month. Jen and I celebrate 20 years of wedded bliss on the 14th and we will be partying down and partying-down in Manual Antonio – I am sure there will be some pictures posted of the wild animals. And, I plan on enjoying this new life of ours and enjoying each adventure as it happens.
Thanks for following me and my blog journey.
